I remembered that I still needed to make a pick for this week. Unfortunately, I remembered at 12:59.

I would like to take this opportunity to blame Jim Zorn's playcalling and William Clay Ford's ownership.

Picking Detroit (or even St. Louis)......ballsy move.

I would have stayed the hell away from that game.

Likewise. This is the longest I have ever lasted in one of these. I usually make a pick on Monday just so I don't forget and sometimes I change it later in the week, but I don't want to me the same fate as Nuclear Winter.

It was indeed. I wasn't enamored with my choices this week at all, and just figured I wouldn't be selecting Detroit in any other week anyways. Unfortunately, the "horrible team needing a win badly" mojo outdid the "they may be a bad team that loses but it's at home and they at least score points" football logic.

Speaking as a huge Cowboy fan (huge heat) I really hope Spurrier goes to Dallas. He is exactly what the Cowboys need...a trash talking offensive genius with a proven track record as a winner. Dave Campo stinks as head coach.
