| #22 Posted on 3.6.09 1422.11 | Instant Rating: 4.05 | Wow, I didn't realize that this was a 20 team league, but it's all good.
Suggestion. Because it's 20 teams, there are going to be 6 no-plays with the other 19 teams. How about splitting into 2 10-team divisions? Or, if possible, 4 5-team divisions?
That way, everyone will play against everyone in their division plus a few other people, then for the 8 spots, the top 4 in each division (or top 2 in a 4-way split) would make the playoffs.
Just throwing it out there, I'll stay regardless. I might do something like this for my "Crazy D League" if I start it up again.

My earlier comment was more that I usually do quite well in the regular season (I think I've had top seed a few times) but I never live up to the performance.

Aren't the Buffalo Bills the Buffalo Bills of your lifetime?
I'm going to pass on this year, as I found last year's 20-team league to severely dilute the talent available, which lowered my enjoyment.

I went ahead and created a second league. This one has a max of 10 teams. If it does fill up, great, if not ... oh well.

I'd say go ahead. So far there's only two teams left, I'm just hoping there are enough teams to form a second, smaller league. Even eight would OK. | Merc

Do you mean joining both leagues? Or two teams in one league? The answer is yes to the former, I'd say no to the latter.
EDIT: Because the syntax is funny (it really should be "no" to the former and "yes" to the latter, given your question), to clarify: I think almost all the seven teams in this league are in the first one as well, so no problem there. But I don't know how it would be fair for one manager to have two teams in the same league.

I did, in fact, mean the former. (If the former was "join both leagues"; that former/latter stuff confuses the hell out of me.) I'll pop in the 2nd league after work.
