Pretty good episode, but I have to say its the weakest season ender they've done so far. The only thing that really bugs me, though, is that they went the whole season without revealing what Dr. Girlfriend said to the Monarch at the end of season two. Making us wait an entire season, and maybe longer depending on when they actually do tell us, to get closure on a cliffhanger is no good. Still, great season overall, the best yet I would dare say.
Just watched the last half of the season today, and it was beyond awesome. Brock setting up the OSI vs Monarch only because Hunter and Molotov set him up... the schemes run DEEP on this show.
My bet on what Dr. Girlfriend whispered has to do with the startling similarities between Rusty and the Monarch (the beards, nasal voices, body type, hair color, etc. The Original Venture Bros?
Am also shocked none of the old threads mentioned that the Venture family line sprung from the Guild. But were they villains/scientists that lost their way or did they just go along with the guild's transformation, meekly protesting?
The continuity and characterization in this show is just awe-inspiring. Hopefully the low episode seasons mean they have at least 3 more years in them.
Rest In Peace, 24. Yours is the only yellow shirt I will ever try to wear.
