Part of catching a cold, or the flu, or whatever it is I have that's keeping me awake closer to 4am, is the world gets to experience more of my ruminations on TV I've been watching. (Also, I can find out if AWARulz is also still watching.)

1. It had to happen sooner or later, and it may have helped that I was a viewer of Russo-era wrestling, but it's now possible to discern all the plot point shocking swerves - which we could call "Mamets" - well in advance. This week's included the identity of the final target and the path the General's watch was destine to take.

2. Okay, bringing what's his name back from the dead was one thing I didn't see ahead of time, but that's also one of those things that points towards shark jumping. Maybe they wanted to get the jump on "24" by bringing a dead guy back first. Is it sad that I barely remembered this guy the LAST time he was on, not to mention I didn't remember he was dead, or how he died?

And finally...

3. Let's make Bob a heroin addict? Really?

And all this ignores LAST week's episode with the saga of Carlito instantly falling in love with "surprise, she's an heir to the airline fortune and now you'll never see her again" chick.

Not to mention all the chick crap they still have.

And yet....I'M STILL WATCHING THIS EFFIN' SHOW.

Is this a cry for help?

Never miss it, Zed. What dead guy did we bring back from the dead? The CIA guy was not killed. Carlito's healed and back. Bob's an addict - you would think Jonas would kinda catch that, huh? See how it plays out.

I like the chick stuff. Mommy types like Kim do it for me. and I like RedCap. I especially enjoyed the two episodes this season with Michael McLean. Lenny as a Redtape guyy. Dug it.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Boy that ratings table is one sad week of TV. And based on this week's notes, it doesn't appear to be getting better. Though I will check out American Gladiators.
