This is a longshot here, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed ...

I'm hoping that last night was the Undertaker's last Smackdown match ... I keep looking for him to show up on RAW to address the Kane situation ...

Maybe 'Taker will confront his brother and get destroyed by Kane ... this gets 'Taker off of TV for a while and he comes back as the old Undertaker ... yeah I know that Mark Calaway has pretty much written off going back to that gimmick, but if Vince talks ...

I think I heard once that when he's through with wrestling, his last run shall be as the old school undertaker.

The Undertaker should do one more HIAC with HHH...and he should win. I always thought it was odd that HIAC is supposed to be "his" match and he usually loses. It seems to be becoming HHH's match, seeing that Undi is 2-3 while HHH is 3-1.

He should return to old school before he leaves and put over Kane. I'm hoping him to do this within the year.

here's what i posted in the smackdown spoilers section. it addresses what i think is next for UT.

anyways it looks as if Cena & Undertaker are going to continue their fued @ Summerslam.
I think this could be very good. Everyone bitched when Cena lost to UT but if they continue their fued and Cena gets the win at Summerslam isn't it better than if Cena won at Vengeance only to have Undertaker win @ Summerslam.
I think this is still going to turn out with Cena on top and headed toward the top of the card.
WWE is not going to give up on Cena. They are just going to build him slowly and I think it will pay off. the guy is young and has years to make it to the top. He is filled ith charisma and along with Lesnar & Orton will lead the WWE back to sold out arenas and high buy rates and ratings

and thats all i have to say about that!

Something just doesn't seem right about a big tattooed biker losing to a rappin' white boy.

Not if there are SHENANNAGINS!

Then it would give Taker the chance to do his "You're a crazy SOB and you have my respect now" thing.

I see Cena beating Taker at Summerslam. The way they have done it, is more believable anyway. The first match Cena had no chance, the 2nd match, Cena busted Taker up, the 3rd match, Cena finally breaks through and beats Taker.

But I would love to see old school Taker. Especially since they put Old School Taker in the upcoming Smackdown videogame. Maybe the loss to Cena will drive him to the dark side. When is the next joint Raw-Smackdown PPV? I would think that is when Taker will confront Kane.

Survior Series.

The first match Cena won. Though that involved a fair amount of FBI base SHENANIGANS so the points still valid I guess. Hopefully the feud carries on on SD this week.

If the Undertaker is going to go for one last old school run, he should lose to Cena at Summerslam. After the match have Cena continue the attack which can explain why the Undertaker will be gone for a while. Then let him stay off tv for a few months, grow out his hair, recover from any injuries or just get some rest. Then at about December or at Royal Rumble, have the Undertaker return and build for a big match at Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania the Undertaker can finally lose ending his winning streak and then retire.

Also if there is not someone else to feud with the Undertaker, it can be Cena again. Imagine what it would do for Cena to not only put the Undertaker out for a few months, but then to beat the old school Undertaker and end his Wrestlemania winning streak.

I doubt if Undertaker will ever lose at Wrestlemania. I think that's going to be the one Joe DiMaggio-esque never-to-be-duplicated accomplishment that Vince is going to give to UT for his years of loyal service.

Also, I don't think anyone on this board knows what Mark Calloway's retirement plans are. It's probable to assume that he'll retire in the next five years, but for all we know, that could be five years on the dot or he could hang it up at Wrestlemania XX.

All right, I'm enjoying Rhyno's "man-beast" gimmick: He keeps his hair long, wears full-body wrestling tights with a big "R" on the back and uses the "Rhino Gore" as his finishing move. Can't you imagine him watching the Discovery Channel one day while tossing around possible gimmicks and having one of those "Hey, wait a second!" epiphanies during a rhino segment?

To spruce things up, the WWF should give Undertaker and Kane last names -- like Undertaker and Kane O'Brien, the O'Brien Brothers -- just for comedy's sake. Hopefully the door's still open.

RVD is approaching the always-exciting "The crowd loves him, but he's not getting a major push yet" phase which helps makes wrestling so much fun. It only happens once every few years -- Stone Cold in '96, The Rock in '98, Shawn Michaels in '93 and so on. -- ESPN's Bill Simmons back in 2001

I have to agree with Big Bad. Just because a majority of the IWC wants Undertaker to retire, doesn't mean he's anywhere near doing so. Is he even 40 years old yet? Hell, when you have Hogan and McMahon headlining Wrestlemania, it makes Undertaker look like a wee lad in comparison. Additionally, while I'm no huge fan of Taker, I think he proved this past Sunday that when healthy, motivated and in the ring with a good opponent, he can carry his end of a match. Also see the series that he had with Van Dam. Should he sell more, well... sure. Should he put more people over... yeah. But if we take away one person who is legitimately viewed as a top name by the casual fans, that's one less name that can do even the smallest bit to help make new stars. Having the match with Taker did more for Cena than if he didn't.

Undertaker should NEVER lose at WM. I don't care if he's fighting Kurt Angle in a retirement/loser must wear a dress match, Taker deserves to win.

Why does everyone parrot the same line about Undertaker's selling?! GEEZ! The guy's gimmick is a big, bad, undead biker. Undertaker selling all the time during a match wouldn't look remotely right. It would be like Jason selling for some camp counselor!

As for putting more guys over. That's the booker's doing. They think he should be kicking ass, taking names and ridin' a hog. Frankly I'm not all that inclined to disagree.

Two hours later they decided to stop at a diner
Because they loved the smell of eggs and coffee
I just had to smoke a cigarette and wear a hat
By the time that they set off again, the sun was starting to set
It made the sky look red like a nuclear ray
One of them said "what do you want more than anything
in this whole wide world
Do you want money, do you want sex, or do you want all that success?"
I thought about that one myself

Why does he deserve that exactly? Doesn't he owe WWE the chance to give someone the rub of ending his WrestleMania Undefeated Streak? As far as him "deserving" not to go out as a loser - IT'S A WORK.

I think that I will be getting the Observer this week. It seems that there was some big controversy regarding the UT/Cena match at Vengeance backstage. I want to read what exactly happened before the match. I have no problem with the match if Cena gets the win at SummerSlam.

Can't resist...SHENANIGANS! *ducks*

Besides, as any good South Park viewer knows, "shenanigans" is what you call on somebody when you're sick of their bullsh*t, and want civic license to seriously whoop their ass. Just declare your intentions to a cop, he'll ask your target if they accept, and everybody grab a broom! It's shenanigans!

The guy's gimmick is a big, bad, undead biker. Undertaker selling all the time during a match wouldn't look remotely right.

Why do people parrot *this* argument all the time? "Taker can't sell! Taker can't sell!" Bullshit. "Undead" is not part of his current character. He's the "wily veteran who's going to teach these punks a lesson".

And Taker *not* selling wouldn't look remotely right. How exactly is he going to put someone over if he no-sells all of his opponent's offense? You want him to dominate John Cena all match, then suddenly trip & fall over, allowing Cena to get the pin? Wow, he just made Cena a star!
