Wow, you don't see a GOP slanted horror film very often, if at all.
David Arquette makes his writing and directorial debut with this very Right slanted gore film filled with some of his Hollywood friends in small roles and Thomas Jane in the drivers seat. Paul Rubens is a scene stealer with 'Fuck You' coming out of his mouth every other sentence he has. It was quite entertaining.
If you enjoy partaking in the kind bud or the occasional acid trip, this movie will probably piss you off as it has a very anti-drug stance with the non-users being seen as the 'good' people and the users getting hacked to death in grotesque bloodsoaked glory. We're talking chainsaws, axes, and a few decapitations. This is a very 'retro 80's' type slasher film and it works wonderfully.
Thankfully, there were no twist endings but it does leave its self open for a sequel if it ends up doing well enough... and I hope it does.
What got me was that I really enjoyed him on Joe Schmo as Kip, but from what I saw (and I didn't watch it all), the show was just not funny. Unless things pick up, I don't see it lasting more than a half-dozen episodes...
