I am not sure that he's the savior of the franchise, but he's got to be better than Orton was, right?

John Fox must be feeling the heat.

I eagerly look forward to the Broncos losing their next four straight and watching that fickle fanbase go from Tebow to rooting for Luck in the draft.

Seriously, the Tebow love completely baffles me. I just don't get it. And when it comes to football, I hate what I cannot understand.

I won't lie...I was RIVETED Sunday. And I don't know what he was thinking on that Hail Mary, but darned if it didn't end up having a chance to work.

And I understand that it took the greatest catch in the history of mankind and a screen pass to get two of Tebow's completions Sunday, but I feel like if I offered you 10/16, 117 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INT as a statline for a QB, you would take it, and if you add Tebow's running and passing in the second half that's what you get.

At least the people of Denver have something to fire them up.

I'm still surprised he didn't end up playing for a Florida team. Given how the Dolphins and Jaguars' QBs shook down, I think either of those teams would kill to have him now, inconsistent or not.

Except that saying he's 10 of 16 passing implies that he has the accuracy to complete 62.5% of his passes. So far, he hasn't shown that ability.

However, as you put it that way, it helps explain how he had a higher ESPN QBR than Aaron Rodgers this past week (hell who am I kidding - no it doesn't). I'd be tweaking their ratings formula, if I were them.

I wonder what dunkndollaz thinks about this.

By the way...has anybody seen dunkndollaz since he made that bet with me? ;-)

(DISCLAIMER: I know he's out of town and not able to defend himself and I'm a horrible, horrible person for making this post - but in my defense I did wait an entire week)

That was the point of their QBR formula, though. Plus Rodgers was on the field for the first half when the Pack fell behind in the first half and wasn't doing so hot and Tebow was only on the field for the comeback, so it is skewed toward Tebow in that sense. (Although in the other sense, Tebow is supposed to be penalized for the screen pass since he threw it three yards and Moreno ran it the last 30.)

I realize what you are saying about completion percentage and that's not the point I was making. He was making better plays than his crappy passing stats give him credit for.

If you are a Broncos fan you have to hope that they change the offense to suit Tebow's skillset. It seemed like the hesitated to do so at first, but once he started running it was like a lightbulb went off. There is no chance for Tebow to succeed right now if they call the plays as if Orton is the QB.

1. Miami Dolphins (11-5) I am banking on RIcky Williams being healthy here with this pick, its hard to against the Pats. I just think the Dolphins are really putting the puzzle together.
