Sorry if I can't spell neccessary or any other word, don't have a theraus in front of me. Anyway..

Its offical, the original N.W.O returns and now we are left to wonder what happens to the rest of the roster which in my opinion when Benoit returns will be the greatest roster in wrestling history, period. So, lets look at the pros and cons of the split.

With so many guys coming back for the Rumble on what seems like a regular basis ie Val and Godfather, the split seems to be the right thing to do. If Heat and Excess become real shows instead of the showcase of midcarders, we could see some good storylines and better use of talent. It will also help with tensions in the locker rooms since only a handful of people are willing to work with the N.W.O members. Those people can stay in the one company while the others go to another. Both sides rarely see each other and we get two solid locker rooms to begin with and any problems would result from other situations instead of the situation in which everyone is now fearing.

What the hell are they going to do with the titles? The WWF has spent so much time unifiying the titles that seperating them would seem silly. Espically since no one outside of Flair. Booker T and Jericho care about the WCW title. If the WWF title goes shouldn't most if not all the talent follow? Why spilt the company in the first case and not make Heat and Excess watchable and turn Jakked into a mini-Excess since people only watch it for the star interviews, reviews of storylines and the vault matches. There is a solid hour of programing.

It also doesn't make sense to hire the N.W.O just to give more reason to split the company. All three men are locker room cancers and should have not gotten deals to begin with. Why create tension when some exists with RVD, HHH, the Hardies and Taker. Right now, the only people bitching about any wrestlers are the ones signed today. Why destroy your locker rooms just to pop a point in the rating?

If Raw and Smackdown are the only ones with solid matches wouldn't that mean less time for WWF stars who last names don't start with M and end in N? Could this lead to people jumping ship to up incoming Federations like WWA, XPW and XWF? Why take that chance.

Has I see it, the split is a neccessary evil since I think Vince will add an hour to Heat and make Excess into a real show. Thus making the house shows either live or taped before hand or just make the tapings for Heat longer at Smackdown Events with the Main Eventers cutting promos or doing short matches then. As I see it the roster will be split like this:

Flair's team:
The Hardies
The Dudlies
All the returning ECW and WCW talent plus Beniot and Rhyno
Heyman books

Vince's Team
Booker T
All the McMahons
The N.W.O
the rest of the WWF roster plus a returning HBK
Steph and JR books

In essence what you will see is the death of the WWF to split into ECW and a variation of WCW/WWF. It makes sense to keep most of the past WCW talent away from the N.W.O espically Benoit and Jericho or you may see shoot fighting instead of Sports Entertainmnet. On the other hand, that maybe a good thing. It should be either interesting or the worst mistake since Hogan not jobbing to Sting at Starcadde.

A Fan- Why is the question of the WWF fans should be shouting when the N.W.O. appears instead of What?

Silly promoters... TNA and ROH have a lot more to gain than lose with a limited talent sharing arrangement. Here's hoping this leads to a little less of the old territorial pissings and a little more exposure for some of the really hungry guys.
