|  #1 Posted on 6.9.02 2145.15 | Perhaps this has been brought up before, but the spinning Wienerville thing is weird. It shows the name when the sign is perfectly aligned, then the word goes away. This would be fine, but the word reappears all of a sudden when the sign has turned just shy of 90 degrees. I think it would be best if the sign either said Wienerville all the time, or only said it when it was lined up. This half and half thing is confusing, and it kind of messes up your eyes if you stare it it.

P3/500/Win98. I'm probably going to upgrade to a P4/2G by year's end, but I don't know that I want to upgrade to XP just yet. I had NS installed once, but had to remove it because it kept crashing my machine. Thanks again for the help, it's much appreciated.

It might have to do with your browser. On my other computer, I use Opera (and you should know, it works great!), and the sign will spin once, and then just stop.
BTW, everyone should know that I don't hate the sign. I just feel the need to have consistency, i.e. either the word is always visible, or is only visible at one time (when the sign is lined up). It's just a pet peeve of mine.

| #19 Posted on 14.9.02 2209.43 | You need to think in a rotating frame of reference, good sir. If you were spinning with the sign, you would see that it's supposed to be flashing on and off. Maybe spinning/flashing neon signs are a bad idea, but if you REALLY feel the need for consistency, well, then this is consistent with other spinning/flashing neon signs.
