The tranquil setting was an obvious foreshadow that there would be fireworks erupting during the game of Monopoly. A lot of interesting developments, such as the federal case against Tony.
What we saw/learned: -Bobby gets the better of Tony in a drunken fight -Tony forces Bobby into his first kill -Bobby and Janice are now living in fear of retribution from Tony -Christopher was nowhere to be found when everyone else was around to support Tony -Meadow's going to specialize in Pediatrics for her residency -When Johnny Sack was arrested at home and Tony ran for the hills to escape police, he ditched his gun in the snow... and Johnny's son (?) saw this, picked up the gun later, and was pulled over by cops who then found the illegal gun.... which led to Tony's arrest for weapons charges.
I generally don't watch network tv, aside from sports, and that piece of dreck helped remind me why I don't watch network. It wasn't quite bad enough to drag the Hot Pokers scale out, but it sure wasn't good.
