Always loved a good episode centered around Mr. Burns. His elaborate death announcement harkens back to a much-funnier time in Simpsons lore, reminding me of seasons 5 and 6, when Burns episodes hit their absolute peak.
Great stuff this week. Loved watching Smithers toil away for Dick Cheney. And did they introduce a Jersey Shore-style character? Seaside Heights, indeed!
Nothing will top Maggie trying to shoot Mr. Burns again.
Mr. Burns: Taking an idea I got from a Stephen King book, I'm going to cover this town with a DOME! Hahaha! HAHAHAHA! Lenny: It's been done. Mr. Burns: Really? (to Smithers) Did YOU know about this?

The Simpsons Movie gag was funnier because a commercial promoting the Movie on Fox on Thanksgiving Night ran in the ad break just before it.

The Simpsons writers are always gold when it comes to biting the hand that fed them ... ;)
