Did The Simpsons do a COLD OPEN?! When has that EVER happened?!
A good Lisa episode is a rare thing, so I'm surprised to say that this is the best episode of the season for me. And more surprising still when you consider that my best to this point (the season premiere) was also a Lisa episode, but that thumbs up was more for the Conchords.
The magician antics were a lot of fun and the confrontation with the big name magicians was the best thing I've seen all year from this show. The opening segment with the peaches sealed it for me. Best episode of the year for me.

The main plot with Cleveland coming to grips with his age feels like it's been done so many times. There were some funny moments, like Junior's conversation with Larry the Leopard ("Why would Danny Glover be in our house?")
