The season of odd, elaborate couch gags continues with the couch coming in to work. I'm easy to please, so I got a big kick out of the "Ottoman Empire Collapses" headline.

That was one of the most schizophrenic opening segments in a long time. It just kept jumping from scene to scene randomly before it just suddenly ended.

How long has Jimbo been BALD?

This episode really just meandered on for me until the end. Loved Comic Book Guy's telling of the Bart origin story.

Aaaaand that's pretty much it. A total "meh" episode for me.

The Jets & The Sharks sequence in Bart's imagination was the best part, but I'm a sucker for any silly West Side Story parody. (See also: the Royal Rumble promos from a while back.)

Lesbian threesome gag at the end REALLY caught me off guard. Maybe I don't watch The Simpsons enough anymore, but that has to be pretty outrageous by their standards, right?

I didn't see this week's episode, but that was how I felt after Katy Perry's "That's not my belly button... I didn't say 'stop.'" line a few weeks ago.

That line from Katy ruined what I thought was an otherwise great segment in the episode.

Huge thumbs up for this. At first I thought they would get sued for the Tiger vs. Elin thing until they revealed it was the new Tiger Woods video game (a very clever way to get around any type of trouble other than anger from the Woods family).
