Nothing beats the first segment of this one. The cheesy Tic-Tac-Toe movie trailer was really funny stuff and is eerily accurate of what today's Hollywood is. It got better from there with Snake's reaction to the Christmas lights and all the ensuing chaos from the wind turbine.
The main whale plot was decent, but damn if Homer's ideas to get the whale back in the ocean weren't hilarious. Brain tug-o-war had me in fits for a good minute.
The rest of it seemed forgettable, but this episode was good for some laughs, so I'll give it a thumbs up.
I had forgotten about the existence of Sophie B. Hawkins. When you listen to the chorus of As I Lay Me Down it sounds like the background singers are saying "I love Tacos." And once you hear it, you can't unhear it.
