Well, we learn something new about this family every week. Apparently, the Simpson family is 1/64th black (AND 1/64th Canadian, eh?).
As far as the episode itself, while I wasn't totally in love with the plot, there was really funny stuff squeezed in between the flashbacks. Especially at the start with Willie and Bart blowing up the tree stump.
Bart: Here comes the MYKIA! Willie: The wha? (Stump falls on Skinner's car) Skinner: My Kia!
And the ending was pretty good too. Homer toasting to his alcoholism is always good for a laugh.
I'm gonna let you finish, but my pink shirt demands your attention!
It was OK. Adam West is one of the characters that is best in small doses. Mr. Petewerschmidt continues to be one of my favorites, even with his just one line in the episode. Meeting Carol's old husbands at the dinner was fun, though.
