Further reinforcing my belief that this is simply the best show on television. I've never watched a show that had me waiting for the next episode as much as this one. Great stuff and things appear to be getting even crazier in the upcoming episode.
For a minute, I thought Tevon was going to cause Shane's fiancee to miscarry in all the fracas.
It started out pretty lighthearted (for the Shield) and up until the last 10 minutes, was a very solid episode that had me smiling. Then Tevan gets hit upside the head with an iron and flies through a windshield.
Next week's looks amazing, and tvguide has said that it's shocking and disturbing. The previews seem to indicate that Aceveda is getting killed, but I'm not so sure about that.

As a rule if the previews make it look like someone is getting killed, you can pretty much assume that they won't be. :-)
Great episode (as usual). I'm always amazed at how much they seem to pack into an hour. Every time I watch an episode & feel like an hours worth of show has gone by, I look at the clock & see that it's only 10:40!
By far the most satisfying & packed hour on television, period.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks Dutch is the best character on the show (after Vic of course)??
So that's two full episodes I've watched with the Decoy squad on the show and still I have one burning question. What do they do that makes them different than any other cops that could possibly warrent the name decoy squad?
Is it the fact that their leader wear's his badge around his neck all day? I don't get it.
But, awesome show. God bless bittorrent for bringing this show to Canada.

If you remember, the leader of the Decoy Squad was dressed as a bum, and when they first came in, they were also used to bust johns looking for hookers. That was the first episode they were in. Since then, I haven't seen them play dress-up as much.

I really have no idea whats going to happen next with this show. Next week looks like Vic and Co have there's coming with the whole money train and Tevon is seriously messed up from the looks of it, my what a brawl. Was I the only one who thought they were going to have Vic's daughter get kidnapped? And Von Maestro your not alone Dutch is my favorite as well.

Trust me, you both are not alone. I am only upset that they aren't doing something more interesting with the Dutch character. He was set up great in the first season, hit his stride with more confidence in the second season, and now is back to being a real wuss. Perhaps it is the fact that I often really identify with Dutch's character that I am upset that he hardly ever gets the respect he deserves. I hope that he gets a new partner soon, so we can see the interaction he would have with a newbie.
Oh, and the only problem with last night's episode?

Too much man-ass :-)
There's a good interview at TVguide.com (http://www.tvguide.com/ news/insider/article.asp) from March 8. In it, Jay Karnes (Dutch) and CCH Pounder (Claudette) talk about the upcoming season. Minor Spoilers are there.
It seems as if Dutch gets one or two big episodes, and they do seem to remember that he had a girlfriend. Plus, we get a Claudette Shower Scene later in the season, too!

Ok, I just got a chance to watch my tape of this. Another great episode, but that fight between Tevan and Shane made my jaw hit the ground but hard! And seeing Tevan on the concrete with his arm all busted up after going through the windshield....YEESH! That's two weeks in a row this show has left me with a disgusting, disturbing image in my head right at the end (last week's was the all too graphic rape scene).
Matt Roush of TV Guide says that episodes four and five have HUGE surprised in store. We've seen the former, and I can't wait until the latter.
Oh, and that tall chick from the decoy squad running around naked (Trish, I believe her name is).....HOT! Walon's ass for the next 5 minutes....NOT HOT!!!
Von, Dutch does kick ass. Even in this episode, when he couldn't get the guy........he found a way to get the guy. I loved it when Claudette was telling the perp "No offense......it can't POSSIBLY be this bad." Dutch trying to convince the reporter that it was a set-up was priceless.
Nikki Micheaux plays Trish, and she is damn hot. The Walon character was hilarious, and the whole scene at the end showed that the Decoy Squad is willing to roll with the punches. The juxtaposition of that humor with Tavon's (had to be fatal) accident really hit home in the line of the night......
"I cannot believe that Shane and Tavon missed this!" - Vic
Oh, btw.......Roy, I have heard that Acevada doesn't get killed, but will wish he had been....just a rumor.
