God Bless Ronald Reagan, and may he rest in peace...
* * * * * * *
For decades, American had waged a Cold War, and few believed it could possibly end in our own lifetimes. The president was one of those few. And it was the vision and the will of Ronald Reagan that gave hope to the oppressed, shamed the oppressors and ended an evil empire . . . Ronald Reagan was more than a historic figure. He was a providential man who came along just when our nation and the world most needed him.
Fellow Americans, here lies a graceful and a gallant man. - Dick Cheney, 6/9/2004
Reagan had a rare and prized gift called leadership, that ineffable and sometimes magical quality that sets some men and women apart so that millions will follow them as they conjure up grand visions and invite their countrymen to dream big and exciting dreams.-Brian Mulroney, 6/11/2004 | dwaters

I do think the subtlety of the slam will be lost on your average yankee fan and that is part of the beauty of it.

[sarcasm]Yes, we ignorant Yankee fans would NEVER catch the subtlety of the words "Yankee Hater" on a hat, rendering such wit quickly overlooked and totally missed....[/sarcasm]
....kinda like the subtlety of the routine ground ball and accurate throws to first are lost on Boston infielders, methinks.
"I'm very sorry the government taxes their tips, that's fucked up. That ain't my fault. It would seem to me that waitresses are one of the many groups the government fucks in the ass on a regular basis. Look, if you ask me to sign something that says the government shouldn't do that, I'll sign it, put it to a vote, I'll vote for it, but what I won't do is play ball. And as for this non-college bullshit I got two words for that: learn to fuckin' type, 'cause if you're expecting me to help out with the rent you're in for a big fuckin' surprise."

Rather than focusing on being good, the Red Sox are myopically bent on beating the New York Yankees and as a result they feel like failures despite being close in the Wild Card race.
10 over .500 15 over .500 20 over .500 etc...
Good management plays against their own record. Only one team in 8 seasons has won more than 93 games and not made it to the playoffs. Boston should be aiming for 94 wins, at least for now. If the Yankees falter, fine. If not, beat them in a best of seven in October. That's sensible.

Hey, it looked to me like Ortiz had a "wardrobe malfunction" last night.
The other errors looked like a T-ball game. The only thing missing was the inside the park homerun on a routine grounder to the pitcher.

Why must so much revolving around hating those pinstriped bastards? Now if only I could go 24 hours without hearing on the radio or see on the T.V. about the Sox, and the Yankees.

I agree. Looking at it quickly for the Boston one it looks like one of those Fred Durst colored Yankee hat. If a saw a group of people wearing that hat from a far somewhere not New York I would think "Oh a flock of Yankee fan", I guess until I get closer, then again I don't usually try to get too close to Yankee fan ... I do like the other hats a lot more.

That said, it will probably grace my office at work or I'll wear it doing yardwork. Well worth the $9.95 + shipping & handling
