The Angle Slam he sold like a million bucks as well. The Rock makes his opponent's finishers look like he'd DOWN, which is definitly one of the reasons the crowd can rally with him.
I'm patiently waiting to see how he sells the F5.
(edited by El Nastio on 2.7.02 1212) On June 27th, 2002, the Montreal Expos (number one on the MLB contraction list) added MONEY to their payroll, aquiring Bartolo Colon. In a time like this, there's two quotes that come to the forefront;
cfgb: "I hate to say it, but Atlanta really needs to be watching their rear ends". And Number Two;
I love Rock's selling of the stunner (during the invasion Kanyon had a good one too) and I think hes gonna sell the Freshmaker/Browser Refresh by bouncing straight up in the air on impact and convulsing on impact. At least that's how I'd do it.
It is my ultimate dream to one day oversell moves like The Rock. I once tried to oversell some guy's stunner, but instead of completely flipping over I ended up standing on my head for two or three seconds too long and just hit the ground facefirst with a thud. Well, it's a start.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.
The craziest oversell of the Stunner belongs to Booker T at the Royal Rumble this year. Austin stunned him, and Booker bounced out over the top rope because of it.
Mean Gene: "You know, I don't think it's a question - Goldberg, I don't think it's a question of who's next, I think it's a question of who's left?" Goldberg: "No, see, that's where you're wrong. It ain't who's left, it's - WHO'S NEXT?"

My favorite selling of all time was Hogan at WMIII after Andre bodyslammed him. He was arching his back, clutching his spine, reaching out for anyone to help him while yelling in agony, brother. That was when body slams meant something.

I'm with TheBucsFan. Booker's selling of the stunner in the Royal Rumble was the craziest and most enjoyable sell of the Stunner. It's also possibly the best sell of any move I've seen in my 19 or so years of watching wrestling. With that said, I have to say that the Rock is the best overall overseller I've seen, with Flair being a close second SOLELY because of the Flair Flop.
The best sell of the Stunner I've seen was also by Booker T, but not at the Rumble. It was at a house show I went to about a month and a half ago, right after Booker was put into the nWo.
Austin vs. Flair/Show in a cage. Booker T ran in and got stunned(stunned? stunnered?) for his troubles, and did the backwards flop oversell. But he was too close to the ropes, and ended up hitting the ropes in the middle of the sell. So...Booker decided to just stay upside down until the match ended.
I love the way The Rock sells everybody's offense:
Crippler Crossface: Screaming and moaning in agony Walls of Jericho: Screaming and moaning in agony, slightly less so... The Breakdown: *BOOM* Down like he's been shot. The Flying Headbutt: *BAM* Missile to the ribs...clutching, shaking... The Pedigree: *BAM* Dead tree. The Stunner: Flying backwards, into a double backroll, followed by either shaking or death. The Tombstone: *BAM* Another dead tree. The Gore: The aforementioned shot put to the gut. The Legdrop of Doom: "Ow...what the fuck? Somebody just hit me with a leg..." The Banzai Drop: "Ow...get...ass...can't...move..."
Bart: Hey, immigrants! Beat it! Country's full! Sailor: OK people, you heard the lady. Back into the hold. We'll try Canada. [the immigrants moan] -- "The City of New York Vs. Homer Simpson"
"That's what the Internet is for, slandering others anonymously" Banky Edwards (Jason Lee) in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
You know, that's why I like this forum. Every other message board I've been to, people COMPLAIN about Rock's overselling. Rock's wilingness to make his opponents look good is one of the reasons I like the guy.
Anyone remember Christians sell of the Last Ride? I can't remember what it was, it was a loooooong time ago, but Christian literally arched his back and his legs were verticle in the air for a good five or six seconds, and you could even see Taker laughing, the sell was so hilariously awesome.
For me, the Flair Flop is CLASSIC! I think the Flair Flop is a move on NO MERCY, but I can't remember.
Also, no Rock sell for me, beats the stunner, but a close second was when the nWo came in and he took all three's finishers. He took the Nash Powerbmomb like a champ, then the Razor's Edge sell, which was just awesome, followed by the Hogan legdrop. Classic tv.
