There was a previous trailer that was pretty awesome that had The Rock seething while a preacher on the radio ranted about forgiveness.
The new trailer adds a bit of a spoilerish detail about that preacher man.
It will have a theatrical release. How long it lasts in the theatres is anybody's guess, but based on The Expendables, I would guess that there is some pent-up demand for ass-kicking action films.
(c.f RED. I love Helen Mirren to bits, but the fact that we are all getting excited to see her toting around a machine-gun might, just-possibly indicate that we are a little starved for action heroes.)

I can't lie, I haven't looked forward to this episode. The show's on a big losing streak, as it is, and the episode's premise seemed so cliche that I was expecting nothing out of it. And of course, we weren't off to a good start.
