Isn't it the point that a heel has to do evil stuff to get the win?
Same goes for Rock/Jericho. Jericho gets the win and brags like he defeated him 100% clean, while we all know that he had to cheat in all ways possible to pin him..
Rock seems to have no trouble with jobbing it seems, and I doubt if he or Chris decide if its a clean finish..
It fits Jericho's character to cheat to win and pretend he is the greatest ever..

I guess I just don't like these super-faces we have now who never seem to show any weakness. I thought the basic selling point of wrestling used to be that the face looked beatable, but gave the heel his comeuppance in the end. But nowadays, the faces are kept so strong I guess the rules are different.

IMO its more the problem is more the other way around.
Wrestlers become a face so easily, the moment they say something funny or pull out some good stuff people might cheer them. Kurt Angle currently walks the fine line I'd say. His actions are heelish but don't tell me you love to hear what he has to say and how he reacts to What?
So..for heels to stay heels they have to do more dastardly deeds than ever. You used to be a super heel by using brass knux. Now you are just a midcarder that nobody really cares about. They have to cheat, they have to whine bitch and complain and pull up the upset tainted wins..the face becomes bigger and bigger and finally at the ppv the heel usually runs out of tricks and the face wins.
I expect this to be the way with Jericho and HHH.
