So I was watching PTI on ESPN today when they mentioned this near the end of the show. Rock admits using steriods when at Miami. I know it maybe a couple of days old, and I did not see any posts on this on this forum. Thoughts? Think Rock roided up in the WWE too?

I thought he had admitted it years ago.

I can't remember when/where, but I would almost swear he already admitted it before as well. I'm of the mind these days that when it comes to wrestling (and baseball), I would be more surprised to now someone DID NOT use steroids. It's easier for me to just assume because many guys who don't even look like they use actually did, and I may never know the truth anyway.

For me, I stopped being surprised when I heard that skinny and no body Roddy Piper was on the juice in the 80s.

Piper took everything else in the 80's, might have weakened the impact of the juice. Now, if Abdullah the Butcher was on steroids, we should all just go home.

Abdullah had to be on *something* to inflict the damage/ allow the damage inflicted on him. I mean, look at his forehead, no sober human would willingly let that happen to them.

At this point, I say most anyone who were wrestlers probably dabbled a bit in steroids/drugs during the 80's. I even have my susipctions about Buddy Rose's "blow away diet". Was the 'blow' just a term or a hint at the real 'diet substance' he was taking? They say the cocainia makes you lose your appetite.

Speaking of the 80's... This is pretty funny from back in the day

Just to clarify, he admitted to using steroids while at Miami playing football, not while he was wrestling. And from what I remember of his comments, he made it sound like he only dabbled in steroids his first year or two, and even then it was because everyone else on the team was already doing it too. It could all be a big lie (a Crock, one might say), but that's his story.

Giant-sideburn Rock is almost unrecognizable from Scorpion King Rock. He's puffy. I always assumed that was from steroids.

Yeah, it was in the Rock's book that he used steroids. However, he claimed in the book that he used in High School in order to get into college. So this is news.

A small list of guys who I don't believe have ever been on steroids in wrestling currently in wrestling:

Mick Foley, CM Punk, Shark Boy.

I thought that was a result of being Samoan.
