Last night Hill had 32 points helping the Magic beat the Jazz. I think it's safe to say that Grant Hill is back. This is the feel good sports story of the year already. He has turned around a sorry franchise almost single handily. It is nothing short of amazing what he has done to Steve Francis's game as well. Not to mention Dwight Howard looks awesome as he is already a force on the boards. I know it's only the first few games but the man deserves the credit. It is great to have him back and I hope he keeps it up.
Every time I see a highlight on ESPN, I'm just waiting for the guy to turn an ankle or jam a wrist and end his season. It's horrible, I know, and supposedly he's a good guy who deserves to succeed, but he's so injury prone.
I'm glad to see how well he's doing this year. Seems like he (as well as Lebron and a few others)is among the few likeable players in the NBA. But yeah, until we're about 50 games in, and he's still tearing it up, I'm unfortunately assuming he's gonna mess his ankle up again. Damn shame. What could have been for him.
How does that work? I've always heard about protected picks but I don't understand how you can trade something that can become so valuable it is no longer part of the trade? If Miami gets a top-10 pick, what do they give to Cleveland in its place?
