Has anyone actually listened to their hotline reports on a (semi) regular basis? Are they actually reputable, or is it mostly bait & switch? Judging from their teasers in their Newsline section, it seems like it could easily veer into Mean Gene territory. Perhaps this should be continued in the Site Bashing forum.

Originally posted by InVerseIf HHH is as powerful as everyone seems to think he is, then why didn't he just stop the roster split from happening in the first place or else somehow put himself on both shows? I mean, if he has the power to single-handedly determine what's going to happen with individual titles, surely he can book himself on both shows. More than likely, if anything happened at all, HHH voiced his opinion on what should be done with the main Raw title and that's what happened. And why would this story suddenly surface after so many weeks anyway?
At the time of the split, HHH was the "Undisputed" Champion, which meant he could appear on both shows.
The only way we got out of that one was due to the sudden "Hogan is God" trend that came out of WMX8, which was quickly done away with so that the Undertaker could get the belt back. UT, being another Hoss, has enough pull to keep HHH from getting the belt back (besides, HHH wouldn't want to get the belt back right away).
From there, Rock returned and he was the only one with enough star power to keep the title off both HHH & UT during that time, while Vince wanted to build up his next "Big Man" Brock to hold the belt. Once Brock got the belt, however, the latest backstage game was played where HHH & UT made Brock look like a punk, then made it look like Brock was escaping HHH to SMACKDOWN! once he won the #1 contendership that same night.
In any case, it appears to me that HHH wasn't good enough to elevate the IC Title to something worth fighting for, so they decided to make up the "World Championship" to give the belt the credibility HHH couldn't, and still can't, give it.
I thought they were dumping the I-C Title because Rio no longer wanted to be associated with Pat Patterson, and the city was going to expose the shocking truth that Patterson didn't go over anyone there. Of Course, since this is Patterson, we still have no proof that he didn't go under anybody when he was there though.
I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.
The hard part about predicting TNA's PPV is trying to figure out which match they will fill with the crazy stuff, or if they will spread it out through the entire show. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: LADDER MATCH Rob Van Dam vs. champion Bobby Roode:
