I don't think there really is a Raw Six. The notion of the Smackdown Six was that they were six midcard guys who were constantly interchanged with one another every week in a multi-faceted feud that was ultimately just based on wrestling. Any combination made for a great match, and that's what made Smackdown.
Raw doesn't have this.
Raw has Jericho, RVD, Christian, and Booker T. Maybe you could call that a Raw Four, but Booker's only been back for a couple of weeks and these guys don't get near the air time that the SD 6 used to get. For a while, even though Brock was the champ, it was the SD 6 that were in the spotlight. On Raw, Austin and Bischoff are in the spotlight, and will soon be joined again by HHH. The Jericho class of guys isn't featured the same way that Angle, Benoit, et al were.
Yeah, it's pretty much Booker, RVD, Christian and Jericho. The only other two that can factor in there are Storm and Val Venis if they're going to use him. Outside of Hurricane and possibly Rob Conway in there, I can't really think of too many other great workers on Raw. Outside of these guys, I don't think anyone is even close to Los Guerreros, Benoit, Rey, Angle and Edge. Those matches last year were incredible. It's a shame that we're not getting anything even close to that anymore.
(edited by The Squire on 5.11.03 1638) They gotta bring these back!!!: "talk to the hand because the man don't understand." - "The Crippler" Chris Benoit "...and that is the LAST WORD." - "The Big Nasty" Paul Wight and of course: "Don't hate the playa...HATE THE GAME~!" - WCW World Champion Booker T
1. Jericho 2. Christian 3. Women's Division 4. Ric Flair 5. Booker T 6. Goldberg
Jericho is hands down the number one pick. There's nothing he can't make entertaining. My only gripe? What happened to the Hi-Lite Reel??
Christian is also right up there with Jericho. I've always been a fan of the cowardly dickhead heel all the way back to the Honkey Tonk Man.
I lumped the Women's Division in there as one rather than listing all the women because the division is always changing and it seems they only want to give one story line at a time to the women, although they have started to give Trish a side story with Jericho while the main story in the division is Lita/Molly. Throw in Victoria and a dash of Gail and the "Diva Segment" is almost always a highlight of RAW every week.
Ric Flair. Sure, he's not the same old Ric Flair of the 80's and 90's, but the Ric Flair he's morphed into is pure entertainment. When Orton lost the briefcase and Flair was freaking out and HHH showed up and the first thing out of Flair's mouth, "Randy lost the money". Priceless. Yeah, he's HHH's bitch now, but he looks like he's having fun out there and that makes him entertaining.
Booker T. Even if I'm using Raw as background while I'm doing something else, I'll always stop and pay attention when his music hits.
Goldberg. I'll admit that I was never really a fan of Goldberg before. I'm still not really a fan, but the last few weeks something about him has interested me. Maybe it's the "bounty" angle or Goldberg showing more intensity than before....but SOMETHING about him has changed and his are also always segments I make sure to watch.
I think you're confusing ideas that are bad with ideas you don't like. Total Divas has increased the WWE's profits, which puts it far above the XFL and WBF. There were definitely crossovers between the WBF and the WWF.
