The Charlotte Observer is reporting that Silas has been relieved of his duties as Bobcats Coach.

Honestly I had forgotten that they actually had a team. I never see any game highlights on them, even when opposing players are lighting them up.

What's next for the Bobcats? Jordan as coach (or player/coach).

If only it were so easy to relieve Michael Jordan of his responsibilities as owner. Best basketball player in history; worst executive in history.

Elgin Baylor would argue his track record of failure is longer.

Heh. For what it's worth, Elgin Baylor's name did cross my mind when I wrote that. On the other hand, I'd be surprised if I ever saw Jordan and Baylor getting into an argument about who's worse.

I hear Isiah Thomas is available for employment. And knowing James Dolan, what are the chances Isiah gets a crack at winning back his Worst Executive of All-Time title?

Any of you high school graduates out there ever dream of going back to school and reliving your (in)glory days? How about going back and playing ball again for your alma mater? Too bad we don't all have hot tub time machines, right?
