"Of course the people don't want war ...but, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." ----------Hermann Goering, one of the original Nazis at his Nuremberg trial in 1946| Promote this thread! | | tomvejada

I think keeping my standards that I had watching the show for the first time kept the show enjoyable for me. Way way way much better than Anna Nicwhore.

I dunno... I don't doubt that Sharon actually said that, but it just seems a bit contrived. (Like the producers are feeding them hypothetical questions to get soundbites for promo spots) Or perhaps the Osbournes know what makes great TV, and are blatantly playing to the cameras this time around. Example: Ozzy putting a bird in his mouth in next week's trailer.

| #6 Posted on 27.11.02 1100.15 | The Osbournes were GREAT to laugh at last year. Beacause, however bad your own life was, you could at least thank (insert deity name here) that you weren't that clan of ugly, fat retards.
This season, I don't think it'll be as easy to laught at them.

What were your standards?
My standards for season II:
Raised, but not too high. I took the point that even though their status has changed, they really haven't on the show. You knew things were back to normal once Lola vomited in the backyard.
EDIT: Compared to Real World: Las Vegas before it, a horrible Osbournes would still be Emmy material.
The more I talk w/my co-workers about the show... the more and more I need to see it again.
