I'd rather watch Baby Blues than The Ripping Friends. But then again, I'd REALLY rather they have two episodes of Space Ghost like they did a long while back.

I shall weep for a very long time if this is true...there's still another friggin' season of Inu Yasha, and I might never see it! I haven't loved an anime series this much since Blue Seed (which is a lot like Inu Yasha in a way, but you have the buy it in either VHS or DVD to see it.).
As for the other cartoons, Futurama is cool, Home Movies is weird (but that's a good thing), Lupin is weird, YuYu is alright, and Cowboy Beebop rules (even though I think they should stop airing episodes after this run is done). Reign looks like it's gonna suck.

Bad CartoonNetwork! From the commercial last night, Reign looks like a romp through crappy-artwork land. Does EVERYTHING need to be outlined in bold, black lines? And the story's about Alexander the Great? Oh, and by the people who did Aeon Flux?
Gosh, I'm SO glad you decided to rotate out an anime that has well-developed characters and a compelling story, with action, romance, and comedy in just the correct proportions, for something else. Oh, in case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic.

Worry not Gade, the rest of Inu Yasha is on its way, it's just going out for a bit. It doesn't make sense to me, however, to take it out after only one run. Then again, we got to build hype for that Bebop movie until they screw up its distribution!

. . .well, more than they have already.
The movie's like two years old, it's English Dub been complete for one year, and they're still doing the anime-con tour?
A movie this good should not be held back, especially now that the whole bioterrorism thing is not so fresh in folks' minds (well, at least not as bad as the anthrax letters stage) what is Columbia waiting for?

Well, you have got a point. The character designs will probably suck. However, Madhouse, the studio that is animating the series, does really amazing stuff. They are the geniuses behind X:The TV Series, which had stunning animation (and is just stunning all around).

Does anyone know if Slayers is coming (or has been released otherwise) to Cartoon Network (or DVD)? I get to watch it on Sundays, but it's subbed. It's tough to follow like that(I feel like I am reading a book, and can't watch all the animation). I can usually keep up with DBZ subbed, but this is a little different. Sorry to get a bit off topic, but thanks.

Slayers got screwed. Fox Kids bought the rights so Toonami/Adult Swim couldn't get them before realizing that Slayers is not a kids' show. Not to mention Fox Kids being guranteed DEATH for any anime;Escaflowne, Flint, etc...
When the Foxbox deal was signed ABC/Disney supposedly got all the Fox Kids shows (good news for Medabots and Tokyo Pig) and placed them on ABC Family.
In all likelyhood, they STILL have the rights to Slayers. And I REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY doubt Slayers is gonna show up on ABC Family.
BTW, Keeper posts and the cow jumped over the moon. Johnny got nervous to see such a sight, and the Trish ran away with David Muldoon. Cats and dogs... living TOGETHER.... MASS HYSTERIA!

Successfully watching a subtitled anime is a skill that you pick up if you do it enough. I remember that I used to watch dubs all the time because of that same reason. Then I started watching subs and eventually got the same worth out of them. Now I prefer to watch subs.
And Slayers is one of my personal faves so I hope it never gets released by Fox/ABC/whoever has the rights now. I would hate to see that show get totally mutilated the way Escaflowne or Cardcaptor Sakura (which was turned into the hellish Cardcaptors, not by Fox but just a sore point with me) did.

I just read on toonzone.net, that there's going to be an Adult Swim special Sunday at 11:00 P.M. after the NBA All-Star Game on TNT, competing against Adult Swim on CN.
The most noteworthy part of the special is at 11:30 where they'll air Harvey Birdman ATTY At LAW. The episode theyll show is the hilarious Sopranos parody. Could be the only chance to see Birdman for months.

I guess I will just tape the episodes instead of watching them as they air. That way I can watch them a couple of times until I can get used to reading subtitles while watching Amine.
I would still love to see a dubbed version though. It is so much easier
Or I could just learn Japanese and that would solve my problem (plus I could watch and understand the episodes of DrangonBall GT in full Japanese that airs before it, and not wait for the dub of that.) Oh well.
Thanks again.
