Just in case you forgot, The Office Season 2 is now available on DVD.
I just watched "The Fire" episode and that was worth it right there. One of the best TV comedy episodes EVER.
Dwight: "It was the Lone Ranger and Tonto. Not the Lone Ranger, Tonto, and.....Bonto"
Check your local wholesale club.
I paid $32.99 at BJ's Wholesale vs. $49.99 at FYE

I paid $32.99 at Best Buy (it'll go up to $39.99 next week, I believe).

Best Buy ALSO has an "exclusive" package containing both Seasons 1 & 2 and some assorted promotional tchotchkes for $42.99 (bestbuy.com) - if you don't have Season 1 already, that's probably the deal to get.

The part of the episode with Dwight in his Camaro (complete with The Club), listening to "Everybody Hurts" is worth the price.

Yeah, it was pretty much a Dwight-centric show.
I love how he ruined the Desert Island DVD/book game with all his questions.
"Question- am I wearing shoes when the plane crashes?"
And how he wants to bring a hollowed out book full of supplies that could never fit in there.
You learn a lot about the characters in that 22 minutes.

Pontiac Firebird, but yes.

Not that I get paid to know this stuff or anything.

I like stuff too.

I knew holding out for Season 1 would pay dividends!

For the curious, the other things included in the set are:
* A 2007 Day Planner, apparently filled out by Michael Scott. Some good entries are the one for July 4th ("TELL DWIGHT no firecrackers in office - remind him of last year") and May 5th ("CINCO DE MAYO! Buy Mayo for Oscar - joke.")
* A magnet with Dwight's business card on it.
* A pen, notepad, and sticky notes all with the Dunder Mifflin name on them.

All in a box that says "Dunder Mifflin Severance Package".

I picked it up today, and I'm happy I picked it up. IT's a heck of a better deal that it was when I bought season one: I bought that DVD for about twenty five bucks. This was a better value; I found it at the local Zellers for $50 including tax.

My only complaint is with the way the DVDs are set up. I wish I didn't have to remove disc one to get to disc two...but that's minor; I'm very happy with this DVD set otherwise.

Sounds exactly like the way NBC handles the box sets for Scrubs. It's irritating but only for 4 seconds. I decided to get Arrested Development season 3 instead of The Office, haven't seen the latter and not the former.

Did anyone else catch the typo on the back of the package?

"...Season Two of the The Office.."

This would have the actual midway point of the third season the BBC sci-fi series, but the Eurovision Song Contest bumped the latest episode to next week. With that in mind, I hope to address the other W-ho fans.
