Thank you NBC for not cancelling this show after 6 episodes. It grows on me a little more each time. So is Pam. She's cute as a button in a girl-next-door-you-can-actually-talk-to kind of way. I laugh out loud more at one episode than in a whole season of "Joey" or "Will & Grace". Keep this show with "My Name is Earl" and bring "Scrubs" back and you've got a true Must-See TV night of comedy.
Dwight's interactions with Michael are gold. So was Dwight calling to supplement the martial arts portion of his resume. "Martial Arts isn't important? Tell that to 1 billion Asians!" | JoshMann

| #4 Posted on 19.10.05 1143.01 | Instant Rating: 6.12 | That's the thing about Michael. He's a dolt, but he's a sincere, well-meaning dolt, which at least gives his character a dimension.
Plus, if one moment has to qualify itself as being the greatest thing ever, it's the ROTJ-like close-up of Dwight while he's talking to Michael coupled with the hooded evil look of glee he gives the camera when he thinks it's Jim that's going to be canned.
The "camera/cameraman" is starting to become more of a character on the show, but it's not 4th-wall comedy that's out of context at all, but it's as if they spent the first 10 episodes establishing that the office is being shot documentary-style before letting the cast play to the camera directly as much as they're doing now.

The missing piece is of course the late, lamented, sort of acceptable Committed.

What the hell is Joey's deal anyway. I am still watching out of the barest remaining attachment to the character, but this season is even worse than the first. | Wpob

January. Braff worked his contract on Scrubs this year so that he could shoot The Last Kiss (with Rachel Bilson) & Fast Track (with Jason Bateman, Amanda Peet & Paul Rudd) back-to-back and then do the season.
