I hope you're both wrong. I mean, I suppose they're building up to some sort of rift between Jim and Pam, but I don't see why it has to big enough to break them up. Who's to say that Pam and Jim don't struggle for a little while, but ultimately Jim realizes that he can achieve his dreams and he and Pam are better off for it? And so Jim becomes a sports writer and he and Pam move to Philly, where her burgeoning art career can take off. I suppose that would make a fitting finale.
Nah, make it more like a real office relationship. They thought it was gonna rock, it ended up just being ok so they go back to being friends after a while. Akward for a bit, but fine within a few months. Just so long as they stay the hell away from any wedding bullshit I'm cool.
My office of 60 people has 4 couples who met and got married while working here, so I don't see how a breakup is any more "real" than having them do the wedding bullshit.

Perhaps to add to that...he recommended Ryan for the position?

My wife and I were tossing around casting ideas for this (because what else can you do when you hear such news) and came to the following conclusions: If Constantine is British: Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, Awake)
