I was under the impression it was essentially a cruiserweight title, but they didn't want to include people who work "cruiserweight style" but are a bit bigger. Shrug. | The Great Thomas

Well, in theory that could be O.K. But wrestling is just so good at sticking with it's stipulations after all. At least a Cruiser belt has a weight limit. No one knows what it is or how much the wrestlers actually weigh but it is there. If Albert became the CW champ people would know that is BS. But the "X" champ could be anyone.

So, uh, who is fighting for this belt again? What's the point? Why not go for the big belt instead of the X-Belt? it isn't a weight restriction, it isn't a style restriction (like Hardcore, which has it's own stigma.)

That's kind of a cool idea, the "X" title. So you'll see the high-flying action of cruiserweights, but it's not limited to weight - it's limited to who can do the high-flying style of wrestling. Very interesting....
