Actually they are calling it another version of the Fusion but yet it is another new Razor by the Gillette corporation. It will cost you around $11 bucks(Not sure what the blades will cost) and it comes out on June 6.

Gillette is brilliant...I'll never know how they can keep selling such advanced razors at such low prices.

With that said, the new Razor looks like the Fusion but with a blue light instead of orange. I'm a total mark for these things, so I'll try it.

Low prices? A decent straight razor, strop, and honing setup costs about $50 and lasts for years. All of these disposables are a huge ripoff. Gillette is brilliant because they've figured out how to make people pay for all the plastic and advertising when they really just need the blades.

They can sell the razors at a loss (or give them away for free, if you know where to look) because once you get one, you're locked into the stupidly expensive replacement blades. See also: $50 printers that use $45 ink cartridges.

Seriously! The first time I saw how much replacement blades for a Mach3 Power cost, I almost bought a set of tweezers instead.

Actually, yes, we are: the Fusion razor has five on the face, and one styling blade which is very, very useful.

I would LOVE to do this - except I'm follicle-ly challenged. Shaving my head with a straight razor would take about three times as long as it does with my Mach 3 - which, as the name implies, goes REALLY REALLY fast.

Ah, that clears things up a bit. Upon further review I probably should have posted this in the ole Site Bashing folder.
