I was looking at the All-NBA, All-Defensive teams etc and I happened upon a new category called the All-Interview Team. Say what? They are definitely watering this thing down. All-NBA, All 2nd NBA, All Defensive, All 2nd Defensive, etc.

So I figured since they are watering this thing down, we should have an All-Headcase Team. Think about it - this would actually have value b/c one of the entertaining aspects of the NBA (IMO) are watching the players who night in and night out prove that they're certifiably, completely insane.

So here are my picks.

PG - Gilbert Arenas
SG - Ricky Davis
SF - Ron Artest
PF - Rasheed Wallace
C - Kurt Thomas

So what do you think? I think this would work. :)

It only works if Vin Baker is the 6th man and Vernon Maxwell can be coaxed out of retirement.

Plus Leon Smith; that kid had SUCH Head-Case Team potential. Upside, SERIOUS upside.

Throw in post-93 Dennis Rodman if he comes out of retirement as well.

But really, no all-time Head Case team is complete without the pride of Creighton University, number double-zero in your program, number one in your heart, Benoit Benjamin.

I'm surprised Sprewell didn't make the list. Granted, he's mellowed a bit as the years have passed, but he was a bit wacky for a little while there.

And the team must be coached by Bob Knight.

I would substitute Bonzi Wells in at SG over Davis. Ricky makes the 2nd team as a SG. The rest of the all headcase 2nd team would be...

PG - Allen Iverson
SF - Ruben Patterson
PF - Kenyon Martin
C - Tyson Chandler

Don't forget Milwaukee Bucks-era Glenn Robinson. Worth the first $100 million NBA contract in history...my ass.

Don't forget about Damon Stoudamire...who seemingly makes it a yearly tradition to get busted for the chronic.

And although it's not much of a case for the headcase team, but throw Stephon in there for getting a shitload of his bling stolen from someone coming up to him while in his ride.

Not a close enough follower of the Knicks to know why Kurt Thomas belongs on the team, but completely in agreement with the other selections, I submit my only change. Now starting at center...Ike Austin (if he even exists anymore).

How about Las Vegas?

They could take the name of the XFL franchise that was there.

Las Vegas OutLaws. New NBA expansion team.

And we had the Spurs come back from 18 down to beat the Clippers in Game 3, and the Heat come back from down 10 to beat the Pacers in Game 4. A lot of comebacks in this year's playoffs. No lead is safe.
