The board seems to be empty of polemic topics, then, following this tendence i ask you this:

Who is the most Hardcore Tag team of all time?

I didnt know too much about first and second generation of wrestling...but i only couls day that my bets goes for Cactus Jack and Chainsaw charly...two old bastards with more scars than anybody in the wwe...

Dick the Bruiser and his cousin, The Crusher. The original two nasty, tough old bastards who could whip anyones ass, even the then-young Road Warriors. Plus, they didn't need props to be hardcore!

Two hours later they decided to stop at a diner
Because they loved the smell of eggs and coffee
I just had to smoke a cigarette and wear a hat
By the time that they set off again, the sun was starting to set
It made the sky look red like a nuclear ray
One of them said "what do you want more than anything
in this whole wide world
Do you want money, do you want sex, or do you want all that success?"
I thought about that one myself
(Then they came upon the thing)

booked cousin - they weren't really related. But yeah, they were badasses, even when they were pretty old. Saw Bruiser/Crusher against the Blackjacks (Lanza and Mulligan) at the Hammond Civic Center back in 72 or 73 and the ref got bumped and Lanza got his bullwhip out on Bruiser, Well, once Bruiser and Crusher got the upper hand they used everything in the building on the blackjacks. A rope, the ring bell, the tag team rope, Lanza's vest, acane or stick or something and a bunch of stuff I couldn't see. Kendall's daddy bladed and we all went home happy and satiated,

Modern era, I'd have to give it to either the PE or the Nasty Boyz.

Is polemic a word? I hate to insult anybody's English, cause the only foreign languages I know still cause native speakers much amusement. So I'm trying to be helpful, not mean, when I suggest the use of a spell checker.

Polemic is indeed a word

Here is one of the definitions at dictionary.com

The Sheepherders. When Luke and Butch were in the NWA, they were nasty vicious. Then, they went to the WWF and got even more hardcore as the Bushwhackers. Face it; you have to be hardcore to walk to the ring swinging their arms like they did, and then bite people on the ass.

This topic gives me an idea. Given that both RAW and SMACKDOWN have tag team divisions, and the Dudleyz have been quite stale of late, would fans get behind the idea of the Dudleyz defending their titles in Hardcore Tag Matches, as a way of distinguishing their titles and the ones on Smackdown?

Kane and Mankind! ah 1998, good times, good times.

Go ahead, do it
You have sexual needs (needs), desires (desires)
You want to, you need to, do it for you
When was the last time you did something, for you? (indulge)
We all know this is a physical thing, it's not like you're going to leave your wife (physical)
Look at it this way, it will make your relationship stronger in the end
What she doesn't know, wont hurt her (bliss)
You'll apprecriate your wife more (appreciation)
You play your cards right, you might even learn a few things (A+)
And believe me, your wife will thank you later (thanks)
I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.

The sad thing is that the fans get behind the Dudley's JUST for coming out to the ring. Look at how long Rikishi got great reactions (hell, if he was still coming out, he still would). The WWE is getting closer and closer to the point where people just reaction to who they see because it's like seeing a 'star' at a concert or event, rather than react because something interesting or entertaining is *actually* happening.

As for the Hardcore Tag Titles idea, I do agree that there should be something seperating at least one of the titles that the two shows have a mirror of, but I just don't trust the WWE to book this right. They might have a good idea for the first week or two, but then it would become the never-ending joke that was the Hardcore Title, where it changed hands 7 times a night with people winning it who sometimes supposedly weren't even working for the company, only to end up back in the hands of the orginal winner by the end of the segment.

No way. The reason there's no hardcore belt anymore is because the matches got so stale. Sure, they were fine back in the late '90-s when this stuff was new, but it just got so boring. No long-term selling, little psychology, and certainly no **** matches. There are very few hardcore matches in general now.
