Directed by Frank (Shawshank/Green Mile) Darabont. I've always looked forward to this book getting on film, right up there with The Talisman (2008).

VERY cool trailer!

Darabont = King novel has proven to be money so far. I'm interested in seeing what Darabont can do with a King story that's more straight-forward horror than the straight-forward Shawshawk or the only somewhat magical Green Mile.

THE MIST was a really fun text based computer game, like ZORK, for the Commie64. I remember getting it back in 1982 or 83.

It was kinda hard.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

This was a good story and should make for a good movie.

I was surprised it wasn't already a movie or TV movie.
It seems every single thing King has written has been filmed in some form.
Except the one about the guy on an island who does cocaine and eats his own body parts to stay alive-- that probably won't be coming soon to a theater near you.

Some Hollywood hack writer just read your post and is pitching this idea to a movie studio as we speak.

The Fantastic Four were mentioned and shown. So more name dropping and expending the universe. Makes sense of course if you bring up the Negative zone. Nice to see Wasp look unconvinced when Hank was talking about the Ultrons.
