Anyone see this tonight? I thought it was a REALLY well done piece by WWE, focusing on last year's WM, with behind the scenes footage and interviews. Focused mostly on a few matches- Austin v.s Rock, Angle v.s Lesnar for the most part.
It was eerie hearing some of Brock's comments, knowing what's transpired the last week.
Yeah. I thought it was really good. It was just FILLED with drama, from Austin's panic attack, to Kurt Angle's neck problems, to Brock Lesnar's missed shooting star press, to Angle going in shock. They really sucked me in, there.

same here. this only reenforced my decision to buy WMXX. and considering the supposed significance of this year's 'mania, it would be awesome if they did it again. does anybody know if this (the mania of wrestlemania) is going to be coming out on DVD anytime soon?
it says so right here in the wcw handbook!
what does it take to get a higher ranking around here? i already know what it takes to get a lower one! :-P
Considering the show is roughly 35-40 minutes without commercials, it would make for a nice extra on a WMXX DVD boxset.
Or put it with the "Top 10" SpikeTV special the other night for a single disc selection (although I think they would do well in releasing a two or three-disc set of just the "Top 10" show with all ten matches complete).
This was one of the best Confidential-Style pieces I've ever seen them do. Kurt Angle is one dedicated sumbitch, for sure. Ditto for Austin. Those Rock Bottoms looked like they were gonna snap him in half.
When We Were Marks Montreal Hits and Myths I never understood why WWE worked so hard to not hire wrestling announcers and now I do. WWE announcers are storytellers and professional announcers need to be taught storytelling.
