In any given year (over the last dozen or so), there have been no more than 100 tickets turned in. Each name on the list is able to claim 4 (I THINK) tickets when their turn comes up.
According to my math, that gives the 50,000th person a 2000 year wait for tickets.

By Grimis' Packers/Skins figures and considering foregone interest, that'd be thousands of dollars spent just for the right to buy tickets a couple generations down the line. Amazing.

I'm around 14,000-something on the Packer list. Every so often, I get a postcard from the Packer ticket office reminding me as such.
I don't think I've made much headway in the 10 years or so I've been on there...but there was a huge jump in applicants after me, once the Pack stopped playing at County Stadium in Milwaukee after the 1994 season.
I think I like freelance shooting at Lambeau better...I'm on the f'n field, and I get paid. Sweet.
(EDIT: Oh, and Super Shane Spear: That would explain why 20,000 or so Packer fans showed up for the GB/Arz game in 2000 @ Sun Devil Stadium. Hell, even Leroy Butler congratulated some end zone cheeseheads for making the trip. Of course, they could've been snowbirds what relocated to Arizona...whatever.) :-)

| #9 Posted on 6.1.05 2229.13 | Instant Rating: 4.32 | Let me see: According to what I told http://www.southendzone.com/packerg/tickets/ , I signed up for Packer's tickets August 1998 (when I was 15). I have the postcards from the Packers from the last couple years. 2001: 41,277 2002: 39,382 2003: 38,579 2004: 38,151
So yeah, Thrill, I signed up something like 4 years after you did, and I'm 24,000 behind.
So if it averages 1,000 per year, I'll get my tickets in 38 years, when I'm 59 years old. If it averages 600 tickets (like it has the last two years), then it will take 63 years to get tickets, and I'll be 84 years old.
Most likely I'll be dead before my name comes up either way.
NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.
