Los Angeles is going from zero teams to two.

Sorry for the San Diego fans but it sounds like the team was left to twist in the wind in recent years.

LA can't support one team.

last time there were two teams here, they lasted 10 years and both of them moved out. I don't think both of them will be here long. One is going - but where? San Antonio? Salt Lake? London?

I forsee the neck adding 6 more teams. They'll never get rid of teams and cities are ready for them now like st. Louis and San Diego. Having a chat with my buds we came up with these potential places.

St. Louis
San Diego
Orlando
Salt Lake City
Las Vegas
Richmond
Oklahoma City

Birmingham would be a great site. Football crazy state, within driving distance of a lot of locations.

Orlando would be okay, but how many teams does Florida need?

No chance. Schedules work perfectly with 32. You'd probably need to add 4 or 8, and neither of those is going to happen.

Given expansion to 38 (your example), what do they do with divisions?

Well, St Louis and San Diego just lost teams because they didn't give in to the build a new stadium pressure so no.

Orlando - maybe - but three other teams in the FLA is a lot already.

SLC? No. Be very very surprised at that.

Vegas? Stink of gambling. Tho the fact that the NHL is coming is a possible push. A possible move for the Chargers or Rams in 5 years or so

Richmond. RICHMOND?

OKC - yep, I can see this.

My thoughts for expansion is they won't. But if they did. OKC, London, San Antonio, - and I agree with Alabama - whether it is in Birmingham or Montgomery. That state is football freaking crazy. Maybe even more than texas.

Unless something changes, Vegas is getting the Raiders relatively soon. That deal is all but done.

Which I guess would lave Oakland open, but no one's going to California unless they're paying for their stadium themselves. (Plus, the longer it stays peon, the more San Francisco will turn into NFL's version of Baltimore, where they'll demand a king's ransom for someone else to come back into to their area. Which is probably why options like Richmond and Orlando are also out.)

The Chargers set up leaves the door open for them to keep on moving. They're just going to be a tenant, and the Rams don't actually want them there, so they may be free to go at any time. If things don't work out well in LA right away, and if they're the second team, they could easily move again in a decade or less.

As crazy as Alabama is about football, it's all for Auburn and the Crimson Tide. I don't see an NFL team attracting too many eyeballs until the college season is over.

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

you'd think Louisville would be that for basketball, but the bars are filled with crazy people during the pro games and lots of Jerseys - especially Cavs and Spurs and Bulls here. I think the Tide and the War Eagles could make room for the Huntsville Spacemen!

The Birmingham Stallions did pretty good numbers in a piece of crap stadium, I am sure an expansion NFL team would do okay.

All they'd have to do is hire Nick Saban and the Bama fans would pack the joint.

Saban would have to take a pay cut and a cut in the recruiting budget.

St. Louis has stolen AND lost two different NFL franchises. Time to abandon them for good.

We were thinking that most of Virginia lacks an NFL team and none of Kentucky has one. It was Richmond or Lexington. I know the Skins are big in VA and Who Dey in the KY.

What about Memphis? Not in Bama but vey close and it's a big city. Same stuff about Alabama can be said about Nebraska. Any Nebraska/Iowa/Kansas areas of interest?

And Richmond Metro has a population of 1.2 mil. The y could fill a stadium.

The other answer the NFL would never do is the teams play the other 4 in conference twice and the other 5 teams that finished same place as them. 13 games and 2 byes during the season. Fresher players and better matchups but loss of commercial dooms this idea.

To be fair, St LOUIS didn't really LOSE the Rams so much as the NFL conspired to have a team in LA.
