According to prowrestling.net (prowrestling.net) Triple H is listed on the match lineups for WWE cards in March, including at MSG on the 19th vs. Sheamus.

Surprise return at the Rumble perhaps?

Move him to SmackDown please. They need quasi-healthy faces.

I'm curious what tweaks he might bring to the character. He's been out of the game for so long (pardon the pun -- no wait, I like it) that I'm inclined to think we could see something new from him. Not a total revamp, mind you. Just the kind of alteration Rock and Austin would bring. And if he's still as small as he appeared at the fan event before the Nov. election, he might be able to work with the smaller guys in their comfort zone.

We've debated the benefits of extended breaks for performers to recharge their batteries. Let's see what he can do for that argument.

Or surprise entrant for the Elimination Chamber. Either way, he'll be in the title picture, even if he doesn't win it. (He probably won't.)

I won't bet on HHH working with the "smaller" guys unless it bury them. I can see him pinning Dolph in a three to five minute match. Keep him on Smackdown, Raw doesn't need another multi-champion wasting anymore time on that show.

The worst thing about him coming back is all the mic time it is going to tie up not to mention all the pauses to make the 'Tri-Ple-Aitch' chant audible for the television audience.

Damn it. I was hoping it would be Warrior breaking out his new thesaurus. I'll give Hunter credit, he took nearly a year off to sell the Sheamus beating. Funny thing is he probably would have been better off returning 6 weeks ago when it seemed Sheamus was closer to his peak than now.

I like Triple H when he's being funny and entertaining. It's when he's beeing brooding, heelish Triple H that he gets boring and stale.

Newark has HHH and Cena vs Nexus in a handicap match currently...if that's any indication of what show he'll end up on / what role he'll play. Also has Orton / Miz for the WWE championship. The undercard doesn't have matches set, but it has Zack Ryder listed TWICE!!!

I know no one here is going to believe a word he's saying, but did anyone read this interview recap?

"In the past, my goal was just becoming WWE champion or World Hvt. champion. But, there's a certain time when you get beyond that. Shawn moved beyond that... I don't have to be contending for a championship. Undertaker doesn't have to be in contention. We've moved beyond needing a title to prove that we're the best. That's where I am now. (John) Cena will eventually be there."

HHH did a radio interview where he said that he now has a desk and office in Stamford and has a day job where he wears a tie.
He should come back as corporate HHH all serious - possibly as the GM until a buddy like Shawn or somebody snaps him out of it. I would like to see him with an intern called the "Cerebral Assistant", briefcase, and trading the bottle of water for Starbucks or something.

Hey, it'd be different.

It would be really no different then Evolution HHH just they would admit Orton and Batista were interns. Taker doesn't need a title, but he was champ this time last year. I'll believe it when I see HHH lose clean to Bryan or another up and comer who needs the win.

Wasn't Undertaker the champ just last year, for a pretty decent length reign (in modern terms)?

Just because someone doesn't "need" the title doesn't mean that they won't have the title for some period of time if they come up with a good storyline for it or injuries make it necessary.

There is no way (at least right now) that Daniel Bryan has any business beating Triple H cleanly.

Of course, I probably would have said the same about Shelton Benjamin a few years ago.

I agree with you, but punishing the hottest heel in the company because he violated the dress code doesn't really fit that description.

I was hoping it was Jericho, and now, after all this HHH talk, I can only hope for Y2J's eventual return so he might someday get a clean pin on H3.

I accepted a couple years ago that that will never, ever happen. (Pardon the pun).

A clean pin on Triple H is meaningless now. It would have mattered earlier in the 2000's when both men mattered a lot more in the business and Jericho was massivly over.
