Is that the Bears are adept at getting my hopes up only to destroy those hopes against the Colts next week.
Our defense has been excellent, but jeeze our offense is doing next to nothing. Is this because we got a defensive minded coach at a time we needed an offense? Never! The Bears management would never be that stupid!
Go next week and the encore of the Peyton Train.
Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world

Well, our offense is being slightly hurt by the fact that the QB the franchise is depending on it out, and our #1 RB is out. If anything, this year is getting me psyched up for next year, once Grossman is back, Jones is healthy, and hopefully we pick up a WR over the offseason, this team could really be something to watch. As for this year, they're making every game fun, they've pulled themselves out of the NFL cellar, and yeah, they'll get crushed next week, but other than that game I can't see them being out of too many games the rest of the year. So just be prepared for the 56-10 beating we'll get next week and hope for the best in our rematches against the rest of the NFC North. :)

Do you **really** think it's going to be a blow out, let alone that score? Your defense looks pretty good right about now. I'm glad we don't play you again until the last week of the season, when you guys should be out of it.

I think the lack of an offense is going to give Manning too many opportunities. I see one of those games where it's reasonable at halftime, maybe 21-7 or something like that, but the second half as the defense begins to wear down and Manning just picks them apart. Though they're calling for rain, which is our only hope. LOTS of rain. And snow. Sleet. Volcanoes perhaps.
As for the Pack...we beat you once...we can do it again. Hopefully that game will be for the NFC North title :)
When the Giants (who are hideous and disgraceful) are technically a playoff team after 9 games and the Bears, Lions and Cardinals are within 1 game of their respective division leads, it is safe to say the NFC is having a very down year. And, it is getting more and more likely 8-8 is getting someone into the Wild Card with tie-breakers.

Enjoy it now, because in not too long time, the only thing Favre will be looking up at is a nurse bringing him a bedpan. "When Favre leaves: or when the entire city of Green Bay collectively commits suicide."
And yes, we already beat you and will do it again. Our defense thrives on interceptions, and Favre is the interception king.
As concerns next week, I think you forgot about the floods, spf. Maybe a couple well placed bolts of lightning. A pack f wild boars. That'd keep us from losing by more then a couple of touchdowns anyway. It's good thing I like the Colts, or I'd hate them.

So I hear Urlacher is out for 4 weeks. [sarcasm on]That's looking like a good contract signing.[sarcasm off]
It should be a good Sunday of football viewing next week. Fox and CBS both broadcasting the other members of the NFC North here at noon, then the Pack down in Houston at night.

Interceptions be damned, I love Brett Favre. Old as he is, and having lost a step, he's still a guy that could take this team to a Superbowl. Win it? Maybe not. But as long as Ahman Green stays healthy, Favre could take them there.
This season aside, though, Green Bay has done next to nothing to secure any kind of future at quarterback. At absolute best, Favre has 2 years left; and we won't talk about Doug Pederson.
There are some young QBs on the depth chart, but what have they really done to develop them? They certainly won't start anyone other than Favre until (*gulp*) an injury forces the end of the streak and they don't dominate teams enough to get anyone even a quarter's play of handoffs and short passes at the end of a blowout.
The only saving grace I can think of is that there's a solid core of receivers and Green Bay finally has a running game. But three years from now I get the sinking feeling I'm going to be taking it from Chicago and Minnesota fans...

Dear God...I hope he stays far away from the Redskins. Hopefully we learned our lesson on Deion Sanders. HOPEFULLY. I hate Jason Sehorn. He was an overrated, injury prone, no good has-been.
