Well, unless merchandise sales stay strong this year. They probably can't do a DVD of the 1997-2000 DXes though, can they? It'd be one big blur! | Oliver

I'm not sure I like this DVD...there's some good stuff on there, but nothing exceptionally noteworth or that shouts "I gotta get this!!!".
It's a rental at best in my opinion.

Not exactly, if said NES titles are classics. Which they are, in Nintendo's case.

However, if you don't like DX, you don't buy the DVD. As long as it doesn't bump the Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen DVD or the World Class DVD, it doesn't matter to me. Now, when does the match listing for the Horsemen DVD, which is under 3 months away from release, get leaked? And, though I wish the Horsemen DVD was released yesterday, as a business model the 1st quarter for the next fiscal year for the company looks strong, as they have Mania and the Horsemen DVD in the first 2 weeks of the fiscal year.

I don't own any wrestling DVD's, and I've never rented one. If and when the World Class one comes out, I'm buying it the 1st day.

Ever played Urban Champion?
The all-new DX DVD will be lame because the all-new DX is lame, but hey, nobody says you have to buy it, and I sure don't intend to. Bought Piper, bought Hogan, bought AWA, will get World Class and the Horsemen, but not the new DX. Make your opinions heard with your money, it's all they listen to.

In other words, the Piper, Flair, Horsemen, yes even the Hogan DVDs were aimed at you, the knowledgable fan, the die-hard type that gives stars to matches and talks about how much better a match would be if it had more workrate.
The new DX dvd is aimed at people that watch WWE only to be entertained by stuff that makes them laugh, smile, giggle, and maybe even a few matches too.
You don't have to buy it. But don't worry. Many others will.

Whether some of us like it or not, the DX revival has been somewhat successful, but this is just crap most of us have seen over the last 6 months. They could have done so much more with and sold twice as many to the old school fans of DX.
