I saw this last night, based on the life of Ip Man, the martial artist who lived through World War 2 and went on to teach Bruce Lee. Part of it was stylized action, part more subtle "art house" style storytelling. Somewhat reminiscent of "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" but in a more modern setting, I found it thoroughly captivating. I definitely recommended seeing this film.
Sorry for the deceptive title. This isn't a recap. The episode was 5 days ago, after all. Though I did enjoy the presence of Mr. Lau from The Dark Knight and Arrow (where I don't recall his name, so we'll just play along that his name was also Mr. Lau).
