.....would doubtless appreciate it if I directed you toward the new Mick Foley bio over at http://raw.wwe.com/superstars.html

Not a patch on some of the packages they've come up with on RAW but a nice touch none the less.

I really enjoy these "Paid Advertisements." Everytime I see one, I can't help but smile. The music is all timed to perfectly. And Randy looks so damned cocky. Pure Genius.

"Huard, gonna go back to throw the ball. Sets up, looks, throws towards the corner of the endzone...it is INTERCEPTED INTERCEPTED, THE DUCKS HAVE THE BALL! Down to the 35, the 40. Kenny Wheaton's gonna score! Kenny Wheaton is gonna score! 20, the 10, Touchdown! Kenny Wheaton on the interception, the most incredible finish to the football game!" Jerry Allen... 'Nuff Said

Yeah, that had me laughing too. The only part of the "friends of Randy Orton" thing that they're doing that I'm afraid of is that in a couple month's time, everyone will look back at this gimmick (which actually has nothing to do with Randy Orton, but rather is entirely done by the WWE production guys) and say "What charisma!" like with the RNN news updates.

Damn, someone at the WWE knows exactly how to hide Randy's weaknesses and make him look like a million bucks without having to do anything. Now why can't they put this kind of effort into more of the guys that have potential (and aren't starting out quite so low on the talent-ladder) and get a few more break-out stars over the next few months?

Wrestling exists in the eternal present. What is, has always been, and when it no longer is, it never was. It has no past and no future, and sometimes even today is in question. - Madame Manga

See, I can get the spate of criticism about Randy's ring work, and even to a lesser extent his mic work. But if there's one thing the guy most certainly does have its charisma.

His facials are as good as anything I've seen from a young guy in absolutely donkeys. He doesn't just evoke the basic emotions hes meant to convey like the vast majority of stars, but also gives little expressions and gestures that can be hilarious to watch.

His playing to the crowd whether hes in the ring, on the apron or backstage can be freaking hilarious. His acting in the face of Flair's outburst at them losing HHH's money was great, and the eyeing up of Stacey's ass on the way to the ring at Survivor Series was priceless.

Unlike ring work (and his is certainly worthy of mid to upper-mid card status), that shit can't be taught and THATS why he gets the effort put into him.

Reminds me alot of NWO Paid Announcements from WCW. I wonder if Eric B. gave the suggestion.

All in all a good night, but Lawler's little high pitched "ooh! ooh!" sounds at the first sight of cleavage really had me contemplating suicide.
