Oops! I guess we are =)
(edited by El Nastio on 2.7.02 1004) On June 27th, 2002, the Montreal Expos (number one on the MLB contraction list) added MONEY to their payroll, aquiring Bartolo Colon. In a time like this, there's two quotes that come to the forefront;
cfgb: "I hate to say it, but Atlanta really needs to be watching their rear ends". And Number Two;
Wow, this is a really embarrassing question, but who's the black guy? I can't figure it out -- I'm racking my brain trying to think of who was in the First Family and who that could be, but I can't. (OK, I'm not racking too hard.)
"The Giant?! The Giant! No! No! No! No! Can't be! Naaaaaaaaaaaah!"
I think it was Barbarian. What's killing me is trying to remember "Lightningfoot"'s name. All I can come up with is Jerry Lynn, which it blatantly isn't since that's the former ECW champion/WWF jobber. It's something like that though...
"Nobody enjoys a good time more than I do, but this business of yours is as legitimate as a three-legged donkey...which of course is illegitimate because as we all know donkeys have four legs."
Indeed, that's The Barbarian from the Faces of Fear in the do-rag and on the left is Lightningfoot Jerry Flynn, Goldberg's pre-Meng arch nemesis. I'm pretty sure at least 70 of Goldberg's first 100 matches were against Flynn. If they want to get Brock over, there's the man they have to hire.
I was just wondering if that was a new feature, or something that I hadn't paid attention to before. (Of course, since I haven't posted in something like 3 weeks until now, it could've just slipped my mind, too.)
