Let's see, they beat the Rams, 49ers, Tampa Bay... In fact, they haven't lost to anyone in the NFC. They are now YOUR #1 conference seed. Last week, I thought I read something about a playoff game in Tampa. Must have been a dream...
Originally posted by Spaceman SpiffLet's see how the do if they need to ride AJ Feely the rest of the way. Keep in mind, the offense only scored 3 points against the Rams.
While the Eagles have a good defense, the offense can't score 3 points every game and expect to win.
How quickly we forget the Baltimore Ravens...
Let's face it, the Eagles are in as far as the playoffs go. Maybe they don't win all the rest of their games but they'll be there. Then McNabb will be back for the playoffs, then they have just as good a shot as anyone to win it all.
The Ravens were able to score more than 3 points/game. And say what you want about Dilfer, at least he had a lot of experience under his belt as a starter. Sunday was Feely's 1st start. He's bound to make a few mistakes in the coming weeks.
You're asking an awful lot out of your defense to hold teams to 1 FG or less, while asking them to chip in points of their own.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
The most important point to remember is that the Eagles own the tiebreakers over the Packers, Bucs, and 49ers.
I have a feeling that we come up short against the Seahawks as the team will be coming off two emotional wins and have to go out West to play a weaker opponent. But Koy should be back for the final 3 games of the season providing that McNabb sits out until the playoffs start.
From the infamous Wrestleline SS interview:
DTD: If you were to make changes in WCW, if you were in charge and not Ric Flair, what would they be?
SS: I'd get rid of all the old guys, and push the talent that has waited to get the push. The things they are doing, it's back in the 1980s. It's just bad, man. Flair doesn't even deserve to be on the show. You've got to get rid of all the old guys. Like what Vince did, they started pushing guys. Nobody knew who The Rock was 2 years ago. He made The Rock. Now The Rock just did Saturday Night Live. You've got to start with the young talent, talent people can relate to. Who are we trying to relate to if we've got a 50 year old man out there? Are we trying to relate, so a 50 year people and above will go out and buy a f*cking little toy? That ain't gonna happen. It's a f*cking joke.
