Is Ric Flair the Cincinnati Bangles or the LA clippers of drafting. Vince completly won out on this draft in every aspect.
Looking at Flairs roster only 2 people (ones a woman) that for me is "go out of my way to watch" that is RVD and Trish (I love her so sue me), then you have Perfect, Booker and Goldust (guilty pleasure) and Molly is also guys I like watching. The rest are all ewww.
On the other end Smackdown has popular guys Rock and Hogan, Jericho. work horses like Angle, Benoit, Storm. flyers Kidman, Tajiri, Hurricane. Not even mentioning Edge and big guy Test.
My perfect world have Vince trade the zoo crew for Trish and RVD and I never have to watch RAW.
other notes : quick points
-Yaaa Team Xtremely crappy stuck together, wow stale as hell and a great chance to force them to change, but no keep them together but they have cool new jackets, that's fresh right?
-Poor Ivory all the women wrestlers are on Raw and she's stuck on Smackdown alone.
-All canadians except Trish is on smackdown, I want Trish on Smackdown.
-mark henry has potential, what year is this???
- is there going to be tag wrestling on Raw if the tag titles are on smackdown.
- draft bigshow and henry, the 2 biggest flops in wrestling in recent history..
I think Flair is the early Pittsburgh Steelers, he has a bunch of blue chippers that will eventually turn out to be a dynasty. I say Flair is going to trade either the UT or NWO to Vince for either Rock and Hogan or he'll sign Austin. He is going to use those guys as bargaining chips to get what he wants. Flair did good in a storyline sense since he is obvious drafted Vince wanted. I think Vince is like the 90s/00 Redskins on paper, it looks like a great draft, but something will happen to screw it up.
I'm with you Saruman, but on the other side of the fence. I can't see RAW anymore. While I think Smackdown certainly has the better crop of performers (at least for now), I'm going to miss the heck out of guys like Booker T and RVD, not to mention the ones that I really enjoy but am embarrased to mention (Regal, Stevie Richards, Goldust...). Needless to say, I'm bumming.
At least Smackdown did get the three sexiest people ever involved in Wrestling by drafting Stacy, Torrie, and Y2J.
Just like the Rubik's Cube, the more you play with me, the harder I get...
Trouble is, it was Orton who violated the No Physical Contact rule on Smackdown. He physically provoked Triple H with that long, boring beatdown. It carries over. Triple H was allowed to retaliate as long as it was in the confines of a WWE arena.
