As a Browns fan, I would bust out The Dance of Joy if the Skins traded No. 9 and No. 25 for the No. 3 pick. I just hope Saban's bluffing. I like Edwards, but the Browns need players, period. | drjayphd

True, but he will be another in the line of sucked here/ or went on and got better. (This has happened to the Bullets/Wiz too, we had Big Ben and Hamilton!!!)
Not since Mark Rypien (sp?) have we had a good QB.
Ferrotte, Shuler, Trent Green (left for KC and got better), Stan Humphries (left for SD and got better), Brad Johnson (won a ring with TB), Jeff George, Tony Banks, Shane FRICKEN Matthews, Sage Rosenfels, That other Gator, a Heisman, with Matthews who retired, The brother of the Seahawks QB.
Between the Bullets, Caps, and Skins sucking, all I've had to look forward to was DC United winning MLS Cups like they're freaking Brazil.
The Wiz might be different than the Bullets than just their name, the Nats have been in 1st or 2nd almost all of this short season, and the Skins might get a killer player. Sports life here in DC is getting good.

Chiefs pick up S Sammy Knight, DE Carlos Rogers, MLB Kendrell Bell, and CB Patrick Surtain in the offseason via trade/free agency, and draft OLB Derrick Johnson in the draft. This defense is going to be very different and very good this year.

He should have shut up when he had the chance. I'm sure he was emotional & it was a big day and all, but that incoherent babbling was just horrible.
And on a sidenote, I'm pretty excited about Pacman ... he looks like he might be taking a few punts to the house here in the Nash.

Maybe the Bears have a plan: Favre probably only has one more year of throwing hideous playoff interceptions in him, and his heir is afflicted with Tedford Syndrome. Likewise, despite all the offensive weapons the Lions have, their QB has Tedford Syndrome as well. Plus, the Lions are the Lions. Put in enough faith that Viking ownership or Mike Tice could screw things up, and the Bears use the rope-a-dope philosophy to the top of the division. Of course, if the Bears had a real QB they would be in better shape. Either that, or Bears management is run by untrained chimps, but I'm trying to give you the positive viewpoint. And, most importantly, at least they didn't draft Clarett on Day 1.

Kind of bizarre since I'd be willing to be bet he probably would have been around on the second day and there's still several running backs left that AREN'T slow, overweight, headcases. I guess Shanahan is more GENIUSER than me.
And Troy Williamson over Mike Williams will make me giggle for years.

Nah. Official story is the Cowboys were going to take him in the fourth, and the Broncos didn't have a 4 nor 5.
In other news, the Ravens finally have a QB. Derek Anderson (ex-Oregon State) just closed out round 6.
I must say that Cleveland and Carolina made good QB picks... Charlie Frye's been mentioned in the same breath as Chad Pennington, and LeFors could be a beast, especially coming in there with no pressure. (However, Aaron Rodgers will still suck.)
