You know, before you rend ALL your garments, I feel I have to point out that it's not TOTALLY out of the realm of possibility to have Triple H win the belt back on a SmackDown! before the next big show...or perhaps I'm SO desperate to make good on my earlier "Triple H/Undertaker and Hogan/Jericho @JD, Practically Guaranteed" prediction that I'm clutching at straws. ;-)

I guess we'll all have a better idear after RAW - but if they set up a big title match for SmackDown! I want some FUCKING KUDOS MAN

Ahhh, don't say that...I was hoping for the title defense tonight. I was hoping for Hogan to get a taste of the ole Soupbone, tonight on RAW.

No, he pronounced it the way Canadians pronounce it. Which is what we were going for. We knew some wouldn't get it and think it was a spelling error, but that it would be funny for those who did get it. And that he actually SAID it was gold because those who DIDN'T get it suddenly had to think twice about it.

I'm going to have to use that excuse the next time my manager calls me on a spelling error.

Yo, Tex. They're giving the FANS what THEY want. To cater for a piddling little interent community would be absurd and financial suicide.

Just as long as they're smart enough to realize when the fans don't want Hogan anymore. I think that they probably will, because Vince and Co. seem to know more about the wrestling business than the goofs in charge of WCW.

But it also must be said that fans sometimes shouldn't get what they want for the sake of the business. Or to put it another way, emotional payoffs for the fans should be short and sweet to keep them tuning in. Not every face wins the title, nor should they.

Hogan got his win (and the WWF Title) back from UT for Suvivor Series less than a week after it happened on the Tuesday in Texas PPV. His debt has been paid.

The way the undertaker is performing rt now i cant wait to see him beat the shit out of hogan. He has been a joy to watch for awhile now and i want to see him go old school in the end and use the tombstone piledriver on him.

I got in late last night and had to watch the replay at 10 p.m. I was damn tired anyway, but I fell asleep three times during the Austin/UT match. It really was one of the worst matches I've seen in awhile...almost as bad at Hall/Bradshaw...so bad it almost ripped the space-time continuum. I was wide awake for everything else, but this match was so slow, it just killed me. Punch/kick/punch/Thesz press/slam me into the steps/punch/punch/chop/kick AHHHH!!!

Damn good show otherwise, though. Some thoughts:

1. Sick move of the night: Tajiri doing the baseball slide into Kidman's head while he was in the tree of woe. Man, this match kicked all kinds of ass, didn't it?

2. Funniest crap of the night: Angle's self-chairshot

3. Plenty of old-school: last night they gave us a "stop-the-match!" finish, several tests of strength and other cool bonuses. I loved this PPV.

Did you SEE the match last night? Taker was about a mile south of "terrible" in there with Austin. Granted, he pulled out a hell of a performance with RVD, but last night's match doesn't get me too excited about the prospects of Hogan-Undertaker III: The Rubber Match.

i cannot believe that was all Undertakers fault. besides i dont think the wwf will leave it just as Taker and Hogan. Not enough workrate there to go long. But in a 4 way dance or so it will be great to see Taker just work Hogan over.

He's got a point. Austin wasn't exactly electrifying in there.

He's admitted using them before, I'm wanting to say it was on an interview hyping one of his movies, I saw it and he didn't mince words, if I remember what it was on I will add it in a short reply.
