Tried to find information about MyNetwork, but they're switching away from airing new programming (except for Smackdown!), and telling you that they're going to air Law & Order: Criminal Intent on Mondays seems like a waste of time.
Anyway this information is from http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20090521cw01
RETURNING: 90210, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Supernatural
The CW is no longer scheduling on Sunday night, which means their primetime schedule is 10 hours per week. Even with that, one of those 10 hours is devoted to reruns of America's Next Top Model. Weak. With the ending of Everbody Hates Chris, Reaper, and The Game, The CW has no comedies on their 2009 fall schedule.
NEW SHOWS
Melrose Place - We return to Melrose Place, where Sydney Andrews is now the landlady. Sydney is having an affair with David Breck, the estranged son of Dr. Michael Mancini. And a bunch of other young people do the things you'd expect from Melrose Place.
The Beautiful Life - Two teenage models break into modeling and meet many beautiful people, only to discover that it's not all as glamarous as it seems.
The Vampire Diaries - Based on the series of books by L.J. Smith, two of which are currently #1 (The W at Amazon) and #2 in Amazon's Teen Book Series category. Do teen boys not read books, because of the top 25, the only I think a male might be interested in (with my cursory glance) are the "Keys To The Kingdom" books, and two "The Simpsons" books. Anyway, it's about a teenager that is in a love triangle with two brothers (who are also vampires).
If someone could come up with a medical drama featuring vampires, I think that would be a major hit on The CW. Maybe "Bones" meats "Doogie Howser M.D." meats "Twilight". Someone get on that.
NEW AT MIDSEASON
Parental Discretion Advised - A 15 year old who spent her whole life in foster homes decides to become an emancipated minor. In the process, she finds her father (they call him a 30-something aging frat boy with two slacker roomates, who didn't know she existed) and her mother (a star on the local radio show). The girl is not granted emancipation. Instead, the judge grants temporary joint custody to her biological parents. I'm going to guess that the law doesn't work like that.
EDIT: Added Smallville. I am really bad at this.

Still, it is returning next season. | lotjx

It also doesn't help that the Doomsday storyline killed any creditability they had. A two minute fight with Doomsday, killing Jimmy Olson, but its not really Jimmy and best of all the return of Zod. This show could have been great after the sixth season, but decided to rehash already dead storylines and stall as long as they could with him being Superman. At this point, I don't care if he is even in the suit with the John Williams' score in the background that is how much the show has sucked.

I started watching again though and, man, this show is really good. Sock is absolutely fantastic. He needs more work pronto. For me it's right up there with How I Met Your Mother, The Office, and 30 Rock in terms of genuine laugh-out-loud moments.
If they're getting rid of Reaper AND Everybody Hates Chris, I'm going to be a very sad TV watcher next season.

| #7 Posted on 21.5.09 1518.02 | Instant Rating: 3.53 | Reaper was definitely my favorite CW show. I gladly would've given up Smallville in exchange for Reaper, although there are much worse things on the CW to swap out too. I actually watched the entire season of the new 90210 out of curiosity and I think in one season they went through all the different storylines that the original went through in 10 seasons. There is no telling what will happen next and not in a good way. I did once like Gossip Girl but about half way through this season I realized I pretty much hated every character on the show. Still Gossip Girl used Kristen Bell better than Heroes did and all she does on Gossip Girl is narrate.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. From your mouth to FOX's ears...
One new comedy is scheduled to premiere in midseason. From three-time Emmy Award winner Todd Holland (“Malcolm in the Middle”), the non-traditional family comedy SONS OF TUCSON stars Tyler Labine (“Reaper”) as a charming but wayward schemer hired by three young brothers whose father is in prison.

Back when Smackdown left the CW I remember hearing that one of the reasons was they wanted to focus on the female television viewers. Obviously they aren't going to cancel Supernatural and Smallville because they are two of their most popular shows. But the rest of their lineup seems to back up that theory.

Excellent! Now I have at least one new show to check out next season. Thanks for the heads up.
