With the recent mention of the Excellence of Execution's name it made me curious.
Does anyone here have a site that has an update on the condition of the best there is, the best there was and the best there EVER will be.
I don't know about you guys, but my early wrestling enjoyment included marking out for the Ultimate Warrior in the late 80's, early 90's and then I was witness to Bret Hart in the mid 90's. I only really payed attention to him starting from Wrestlemania 9.
Watching Shawn Micheals speak badly of him while the guy is seriously hurt made me cringe. But I guess thats what it was intended to do.
Yup. Shanw and Bret hate each other. Period. And Bret's not exactly in Vince's list of people to speak highly about either.
Me, personally, I feel bad for Bret suffering the stroke and all, but other than that he's still a bitter old man. I like his wrestling, but his articles tend to piss me off and come off as making him seem really bitter. All I ever read from him are complaints and general bitching. He should let sleeping dogs lie, Vince did what he thought was best for the business.
No disrespect to Bret, I'm sure he's a good father and whatnot, I'm just not into him as a person all that much. Plus, he's wrestling royalty. He's open to being mentioned in people's promos when they talk about great wrestlers and whatnot. I didn't really mind it all that much, Shanw putting him down. It IS kind of ironic that both these guys still hate each other, and Shawn Michaels in his "Saved 1" Christian t-shirt was the one doing the hating.
Those two have a Ali/Frazier-esque relationship (even though THOSE two have seemingly buried the hatchet). I remember when Ali was doing the stuff for the Olympics when he first came out with full-out Parkinson's and they asked Joe Frazier what he though and he said that if he saw Ali walking down the street today (this was a few years ago) that he'd punch him in the face. I mean, some people can't bury the hatchet or never will. I mean, I'll never forgive the son of a bitch who beat me up on the first day of sixth grade (and the many tussles we had thereafter). Some people are just polar opposites and will never get along.

J-Lo and Ja' Rule are the worst singing/rapping duo I've ever seen in my life (my response to the "totally live" performance of that annoying "Ain't it Funny" song at last year's VMA's. The show where everybody goes home happy and the winner's aren't really winners, they're just people randomly selected based upon their pop status).
While I could see Hart complaining if they mentioned Owen or the screwjob or his contractual stuff with Vince, I doubt whether he would have a serious problem with another wrestler claiming he kicked his ass. That's just promo BS.
Hell, he might even like that he's still mentioned and remembered. Plus the fact that HBK didn't get much of a pop when he said that (maybe because a lot of those Greensboro fans know the real history and also know how well Hart and Flair wrestled together).
Anytime Flair turns on Sting is a classic. Arn Anderson turning on Dustin Rhodes in a tag match against Buckhouse Buck and Terry Funk. Actually, the Horsemen turning on anyone or enticing someone to turn is usually good.
